Day 1 — Introduction to SMP, Theory and Setting up
- Course Overview
- Introduction to SMP
- Health and Safety
- Quote / treatment plan preparation
- Consultations
- Client preparation
- Hairline and temples design Preparing your clinic and equipment for performing treatments
- Choosing the correct ink colour, mixing ratios and factors affecting the final colour achieved
- Performing the first session
- Cleaning and aftercare
- Performing the follow-up sessions
Day 2 — Practicing
- Practicing with equipment on the various media
- Graduation and blending
- Hairline softening
Day 3 — Performing a Treatment
- Hairline and temples design to suit the individual needs of the client
- Choosing the correct ink colour and mixing ratio
- Zoning the scalp
- Application of SMP to the scalp
- Graduation and blending
- Hairline softening
Day 4 & 5 — Achieving the Finished Result
- Achieving the correct density and colour
- Blending, practice, practice, practice...
